Ohana Farm Orchards

Macadamia Nuts * Ice Cream * Avocados

Home Page

We are a family owned and operated farm on the South Kona Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. Our Ohana, (Hawaiian for "family") lives on a 16 acre farm. We have 650 macadamia nut trees, 42 avocado trees and some young coffee trees. We moved here early in 2012 from the San Francisco Bay Area to start this new chapter in our lives and are having an amazing time doing so! John is a "retired" auto-mechanic and I was lucky to have a portable "remote" job.

We pride ourselves in making small-batch, high quality, deliciously flavored macadamia nuts and tropical ice creams in a wide variety of flavors.

We process the nuts ourselves; we pick, husk, crack, and dehydrate them. Following that we uniquely flavor, package and bring them to market! We also offer tours by appointment so please reach out, we want to see you and share this amazing life!

Farmer John has also become known as the "ice cream man" and creates amazing flavors he brings to market; Chocolate Mac nut, Lilikoi and Kona Coffee to name a few of the 12 flavors!

I also want to share how proud we are to carry the Hawaii Seal of Quality from the Department of Agriculture, earned by our processes and our high use of local products.
